So maybe decisions come out on December 13 then?

If you go to the website, then click applying, and under that click freshman application process it says:

"Early Action candidates apply by November 1 and receive notification by December 13"

My family is having a huge christmas party that day, so it'll be awkward to say the least when I excuse myself to go upstairs and check my harvard admission status lol

I might not get it till the 15th then. I wonder if there's a way to add email notification after you request not to get an email...

@NewYork94, there is, just check the application status page. You can opt for email decision up until 10 days before the email notification date (december 13th).

Nice, two less days than I thought.

So, that likely letter... I guess if we haven't gotten one yet we're not one of the ~100 with "exceptional academics/ECs"? I really thought I had an unbelievable EC... Already a pseudo-rejection. Sorry for being so depressing

Majority of people they accept don't get likely letters, so don't think you'll get rejected just because you don't get one. But it is a very capricious process in my opinion when they decide who is in and who is out.

Ugh, my teachers only managed to submit their evaluations and whatnot yesterday. I submitted my parts of the application by 31st October, and had invited them to be my referees prior to that. The deputy headmaster has sent Harvard an e-mail explaining why they were so late. This shouldn't be a problem, right? I have an interview scheduled tomorrow.

Just wondering, are the likely letters all sent out at the same time? Or over like a week or so? NOT that I am ever expecting to get one, just curious!

Random question, but if I'm applying to UC Berkeley and the deadline is
November 30th which is technically regular decision (Don't know if they even have an early action?) that won't interfere or invalidate my Harvard Early Action App right?
Also, we can apply to a college's regular decision program right now right? I'm applying to stanford with an arts supplement regular decision and the deadline is December 1st...

^No you could even apply EA to Berkeley if you wanted to because it's a public university. SCEA only applies to private universities.

Ehm. Someone posted about Harvard/NEC (too lazy to look back and see who asked), but I'm sending my recording to NEC by Dec. 1 like they asked. NEC supposedly isn't supposed to know whether an applicant has applied for the joint program. Only Harvard is supposed to know. *shrug* best of luck!
