From my view, todays publications of the Crimson was dedicated to Commencement 2008. The only article I could find on "200 offered spots" was dated May 13, 2008. Could you please copy and paste the article you are referencing as a reply on this thread.

Thanks.

The first post in the Harvard Forum thread titled, "A Year Without EA" has a link to the article in The Crimson. I am really bad at links or I would post it myself.

Got the letter today, tried to pretend like it didnt bother me but inside it hurt pretty bad. Now that I have to face the fact that I'm not going it's hard to let go. However, I know with each passing day I'll think about it less and less and pretty soon I won't think about it at all. Besides, I'm going to be having way too much fun at the University of Pennsylvania this fall to care!!! Woo fighting Quakers!!

Cheer up, folks. This is almost the end of H-list. Imagine that after 6 months and 27000+ people, you are probably the last 20 or so people H is still holding in its hands. Even I can not believe H is going to reject my S, but I do expect the rejection letter coming soon. Either way it is almost meaningless to him now while he is heading to Stanford, it will be an interesting event to remember.

CollegeMom08-

My S has not received a rejection letter yet so we are holding on by a very thin thread. It seems that they have already accepted their 200 students, the only long shot is if some of those students do not accept. My S will not call feeling it does not alter fate and must drive the admissions' people crazy......oh well, the wait continues.
