There are a little under 200 spots open on the waitlist. Good luck!

WHAT???? oh my god, 200 is a ludicrous. That means the yield was 10% under what they'd predicted

CNI,

please explain. I don't understand. Do you know the number of actual waitlisted students? so, if they take around 200 off this list, what % is that?

No one knows how many students are on the list. In their letter to waitlistees, they said "several hundred" had been waitlisted. To me, that would be anywhere from 100-2000. If the list was 1500, and 2/3 accept their spot, that means 200 is 20% of the waitlisted class. That also means that they probably had a yield oof around 70-75%

Gotcha. Best of luck! My son has a friend who is very hopeful of getting accepted from the waitlist.

It makes more sense that they'd send out acceptance letters as soon as possible, but what did Fitzsimmons mean by a lot of people would be happy in June? That leads me to think that even though they said the bulk of decisions would be made by the end of this month, they won't send them until later. That seems wrong though.
