| My son got accepted off the waitlist last night.
An admissions officer had called my son during the day and left a message on his cell. He called back in the afternoon and left a message to call him back at home. They called yesterday evening at home. |

| In the Crimson article referenced abopve (post #276), it talks about a "letter from the Admissions" office with "better news." Do you think that the "cream of the crop" are getting phone calls from Admissions and the rest will be done via this "letter?" | |

| No. She just got a call saying she was in. She's already enrolled. Didn't do any of the supplemental stuff (i.e. no extra essays, phones calls, recs, w/e). | |

| This is vicariously SO nerve-wracking. I am the father of a sophomore, but I know someone on the waitlist and am really hoping he gets an email, a phone call, or a traditional letter SOON with good news! Clearly, what Harvard does will impact the other Ivies' waitlists as well, don't you think? | |
