| ^^^ I highly, highly doubt it, as Harvard doesn't even know how many people are matriculating yet. The sheer use the waitlist depends on how many people decide to enroll. If he WAS somehow accepted off the waitlist, that means that more people have declined a spot ALREADY than they had originally anticipated. My friend at Harvard (and this is COMPLETELY hearsay) says that the waitlist might not be used at all this year. |

| I think from the begining we've known that they might not take anyone off of it. But it will still come down to numbers. |

| From this thread comes this: Quote: |
Harvard has started accepting a few from the waitlist.
| And the plot thickens. I called, and was told that Harvard would start waitlist deliberations in May. Can anyone confirm or deny these rumors positively? |

| This really is the year of the waitlist. Everywhere.
All we can do is...wait...and see. |

| I imagine we won't know for a while. I've heard that the review board won't make any new choices until at least the 9th. |

| I was at prefrosh weekend, and I met lots of cross-admits who told me they were opting for Harvard (actually, all except 1 of the ones I personally acquainted myself with said this). Maybe scheduling the visiting program the weekend before may 1 helps lol
