Spring 2008 Opportunities to Meet Harvard Admission Officers

Harvard has posted its schedule of spring 2008 regional information sessions,

Harvard College Admissions Office: Harvard in Your Hometown

which are mostly joint information sessions with the Exploring College Options consortium, on the Harvard website. The consortium programs also include representatives of Harvard's long-time travel partners Duke, Georgetown, and Penn, as well as new travel partner Stanford, for an outstanding opportunity to compare and contrast five interesting colleges.

Since everyone applying to Harvard ought to apply to other colleges as well, to avoid disappointment, you may be interested in a more complete list of various college information sessions around the country that can be found in another thread on the College Search & Selection Forum.

What did any of you who visited a Harvard information session this spring think of the Harvard presentation? I thought Pat Griffin, who visited Minnesota this year, left a very good impression of Harvard. He is a thoughtful young man with a good sense of humor, and made Harvard look like a place where thoughtful young people with good senses of humor would fit in well.
