2014 Hopefuls Thread( help from current attendees, or 2013ers)

Hey, Im a 2014, and crossing my fingers for a Harvard admit. I finished one essay and I was hoping a current attendee or a accepted 2013er could give me advice on it. Any help would be great! ---dont laugh, i don't know how to pm things over Thanks!

I've been a Harvard admissions officer ever since the college was built. Looks like it's your lucky day. PM your essay over and I'll be happy to give it a read and send it back corrected of all spelling and grammar mistakes. I'll even re-write it entirely, on any topic of your choice, and I'll be sure to include the secret codeword which will inform my fellow admissions officers to let you in.

You could PM it to me. I'd be happy to take a look. I realize what kind of stress you're starting to feel - these last three months were absolute hell.

I don't think either supplement or common app. has released, but the essays pretty much stay the same year to year. Im trying to get a feel for them, and this is the best time for me since this summer and the upcoming fall its gonna be hard enough filling out the apps school work, and making sure the counselors actually do their role. @ Ace2209, thanks for offering, it means a lot. I will pm to you, once i give a copy to my english teacher to verify i wrote them because, someone at CC suggested I do so. Thanks!

Sure thing. The common app always has an option like "topic of your choice", so don't worry too much about the subjects.
