Hey guys, i thought i wud made this threa since there are about 10 different threads about the same thing!plus they made a thread like this last year and 200 were accepted of the waitlist so perhaps it can bring us luck!!
Also about the questions that are asked several times:
1.Whats the size of the wl?
700-1500 and about 2/3 accept their place on the wl..if anyone has any updates please post.
2.How many will get of the wl?
This year it is most likely that they will take 100-200 ppl.See the Boston Globe article and the Harvard Crimson. We will know for sure in early May 5-10 when Harvard will announce its yield for this year.
3.When will we be notified?
In earlY May until mid June.This a rollin proccess remember.
4.Is there anything that i can o to get of the wl?
You can send updates to the admissions comitee or the adcom for your area. To find out his/her email contact the admissions office.Do not rush to send in updates though,they will start looking in to them in May.You can otherwise halp yourself by conveying ppl not to choose Harvard(joking)
