So I was considering submitting the additional essay on Harvard supplement. But the problem is Harvard offered a list of "possible topics". So I was knida wondering if I have to choose one of these topics or if these topics just give some sort of direction. I have something I feel really strongly about that I want to write. But I don't think it will fall into the provided topics.Do I have to choose one of the "possible topics"?

You can write about whatever you want. It doesnt have to be about one of those topics.

just write, let them know you better. it'd probably help to let them know why you belong at harvard as well...

Well, thanks huys. That's a relief.
I want to them exactly why I hoped to attend Harvard so much.....except for the prestige of course.
