Please chance me for Haverford '13!

Hi, I am a rising high school senior. My first choice college is Haverford.

Profile
First generation Chinese immigrant
Gender: Male
High school class of 2009
Extremely competitive school in MD

General statistics
GPA (UW / W): 3.88 / 4.63
(Note: My low GPA is mostly due to high school level classes that I took in middle school. If not counting those, my GPA would be 3.95 / 4.80. Only my cumulative GPA is on my transcript though.)
SAT Reasoning Test: Will take in October, expecting ~2200
SAT Subject Tests: 800 Math Level 2, 770 Physics, 680 US History
School does not rank, but I am certain that I am in the top 10%.

Notable classes taken or planning to take
AP English Language & Composition
AP American Government
AP Comparative Government
AP Computer Programming 2 (CS A)
AP Computer Programming 3 (CS AB)
AP Physics C (Mechanics + E&M)
AP BC Calculus
Multivariable Calculus

Volunteering / work experience
315 hours of volunteering
Chinese-American Parents and Students Association - Tutor (9-10)

Camp China - Camp counselor (12)
Education internship @ school (12)

In-school extracurricular activities
Engineering club - Founder & President (11-12)
National Honor Society - Executive officer (11-12)
American Computer Science League - Senior team leader (11-12)
Mu Alpha Theta (11-12)
Math team (10)
Robotics club (10)

Personal activities
Music: singing, piano, guitar (takes up most of my free time)
Writing / blogging (the good kind; pertaining to politics, societal issues and such)

Other stuff
My interests are very diverse and it will be difficult for me to decide a major, but I am contemplating a double major or a major + minor in philosophy and either pure math or physics.
I am confident that my essays will be well-received.
Counselor and teacher recommendations will definitely be quite favorable.
I plan to visit and have an interview, but I am a bit doubtful about how well I will do.

So anyways, the only missing piece of the puzzle is the SAT, but as mentioned, I expect to score around 2200, give or take 100 points. All of this is very important to me; I really want to come to Haverford. So thanks in advance!

(By the way, if you can chance me for Swarthmore that would be nice too. Haverford is #1 though )

With a strong essay, you have a good shot at any college you apply to. If Haverford is your first choice, make sure they know that, and know why. And make sure you tell them what you would bring to them. This advice applies to any college you would apply to.

I think that an interview would also show how interested you are in hc. I got in with a 2000 for SAT , so I think you are definitely okay.
