I think some colleges are now trending to pay more attention to how 'they as a college' can help the student reach their goals, and paying more attention to the 'fit' of the student into the college culture. That's awesome in my opinion.

Do college advertising e-mails and mail count as the admission process? I have a huge problem about those (the mailing part, not the e-mailing part). I know colleges have to advertise, but it seems to me that there must be a better way to spend all that money and paper.
