Yeah, I wanna ask my friend to Prom in a pretty creative way. Does anyone have any tips/ ideas that I can do without spending a ton out of my wallet?

This was suggested to me two years ago, though I didn't end up using it. Buy her hot chocolate from Starbucks or something and arrange marshmallows into the word "PROM". Pitfalls: 1) They melt if she doesn't show up to where you're expecting to ask her or something. 2) She just takes a sip without looking at them. I'd recommend telling her to look at it when you hand her the cup.

    Edit: Or what Hovito said

fill her locker with various types of balls so when she opens it they will fall out all over her, then have a note taped to the back of the locker that says "i finally got the balls to ask you to prom"

My friends brother asked his gf by setting a bunch of small candles (the flat circle ones) in her driveway to spell PROM? and lit them up and rung her doorbell at night. She walked out and needless to say, they're going to prom together!

That could have ended very badly if an overprotective father answered the door.

They'd already been dating for a while and he talked to the dad to make sure the girl opened the door instead of anyone else

Hahaha I like the balls one. One of the more creative ways I've seen is sidewalk chalk on her driveway asking her?

The cute ideas from my school:

One guy got his friends to wear t-shirts that spelled PROM?
One of my friends put balloons in his girlfriends trunk that spelled PROM?
Someone asked a girl through the sidewalk at our school.
Someone else put a sign up in the parking lot that said (Girls name), PROM? (guys initials)
My friends boyfriend spelled PROM? out on her lawn, I don't know what he used though
Somebody put a HUGE cloth sign that had "Will you go to prom with me? (guys initials)" on the roof of our school. It was off by the end of the day so hopefully she went in that entrance, lol
Someone wrote it out on a girls car
One of my friends asked his girlfriend out by putting a big sign up in the girls classroom that said "Will you go out with me? Love (guys name)" Then walked in after her with a bouquet of flowers.
Another one of my friends asked his girlfriend out by sticky noting her car with a whole bunch of jokes they shared and things he liked about her, then wrote "girls full name, will you go out with me?" on the windshield with sticky notes
Oh, and someone was asked on our schools spirit rock

I feel like spelled should be spelled spelt.

    From our school:

--Large sign written on cardboard, cut into (puzzle) pieces, and placed on girl's desk

--Chalk on asphalt leading up to driveway; driveway split into 2 "parking spaces" (Yes/No)

--(My idea for a friend): Write the message in several colors of Magic Marker. Put the message and markers in a Starbucks cup and have the mom take the girl to Starbucks (like usual). Have manager hand girl the cup and have her color in the message.
