Oh, and to answer the more simple aspect of your question--I am a clarinetist, so I'll be applying to the band program.

@starkali
I checked the link,
How did you start self-studying? I thinking about doing one over the summer, but I don't know how to apply and when the tests are. can they be taken over the summer too, or would I have to wait until school starts up next year?

@EmBio, I don't know about selfstudy. but I've known people who did that. They go to their counselor at the end of the calendar year, or even earlier, and tell him that they plan to take the AP exam.

What's the pre-req for AP STATS? Think I'll be able to last with background in Honors Algebra2 & Honors Geometry with ( 100% ) in both classes?

All you need is some basic Algebra 2 for AP Stats, so you'll be fine.

Hey, do you guys plan to take SAT subject tests next year? which subject?

I'm thinking maybe chemistry, if I do well in AP chem. I don't want to take too many in one year. practically I should also take MATH II because I'll be finishing up trig/precalc this time next year. but I really don't want to do too many in one year. Do you think I should put off math until the fall or winter? I want to do chem right after the class.

^^I'm taking subject and APs next year. Already took the SAT subject test for Math 1 and Spanish 1. Taking the Chem, Math II, and Spanish II for SAT next year, along with the chem, spanish, and calc AP.

Just do them after you finish/close to finishing the course. They aren't that bad. Get some tips from the SAT practice books (strategies for choosing answers) and you should be good!

And one question for all of you 2015ers...Are you guys starting college apps/process in any way right now? For instance, a bunch of kids, including myself, are starting to send videos to coaches start initial contact (camps, emails, meetings, etc). I know of others who are just contacting the dean of admission as of now to ask for advice.

Anyone in the same boat as me???

Perhaps the Physics one but not sure how in depth it is... If its really in depth I'd take it after AP Physics (Junior Year), if not probably Sophmore after Advanced Physics.

Can you guys rate my sophomore schedule for next year?
Biology
Algebra 2
Geometry
English 2
U.S. History
Economics and Agricultural Management
Do you think Computer Maintenance or College Phycology would sound okay for colleges?
Thanks!

No AP classes? Schedules seems easy. Take the college psychology if you can.
