AP Stats can be taken after Algebra 2, or concurrently with precalc at the earliest. And from what I read, a lot of people on this site (including myself) take precalc or above their sophomore year.

Well, I forgot there for a minute that my school is mainly rednecks ....I know a few kids who are taking Pre-Calc this year, none for AP Stats though. Jeez.....lucky math people....I`d give anything to have math come so easily to me.

Ha. Well, it`s not that I disslike math, it`s just that I usually have teachers that don`t teach it well, but still, no excuse.

Yep, can be taken concurrently (in fact, is encouraged to be taken concurrently) with Pre-Calculus
Taking it next year |

Yeah it might be a bit tough :/
The thing is, there's nothing else I can choose unless I want to double up on science..
Already going to take an AP science next year so idk if I want to do another one..
Stats sounds interesting from what I've read :P so I dunno.
What would you choose, if you had to pick from these choices:
A) AP Biology and AP Chem
B) AP Physics and AP Biology
C) AP Biology and AP Stats
D) AP Physics and AP Stats [Hardest option, IMO]

AP Bio and Chem...but I`m not a math person. What do you want to major in for college? If it`s something having ot do with science, then go for the science. Math, go with math, and neither, whatever you feel like wouldn`t be too hard and too boring for you.

I took Pre cal and stats my freshman year. But you really don't need anything except algebra 2. But I ended up really liking stats especially the stuff you do in the end. I think that it is not that hard but it probably depends on your teacher. I think it is a good class for everyone because of all the writing you have to do and the word problems. I think that people overestimate how hard the class is. All of you guys could take it and do great! But if you have to choose between stats or calc, then definitely take calc because I think that would look better for college

@lappelduvide: I'd probably choose C, AP Biology & AP Stats.

Hey everyone! I'm new to this thread, but I've been reading through your posts for a few days.
@alexharper that seems like a lot for junior year. Especially with so many ECs... And don't take this in the wrong way, I'm not trying to be rude at all, but if you're not good at math, why are you trying to take such advanced math classes?

AlexHarper: I think taking AB and BC Calc is kind of redundant. I would just pick BC; it's more challenging. And no, my junior year schedule as of right now is pretty similar: AP Chemistry, AP European History, AP Calculus BC, AP Psychology, Honors English 3, Honors Symphony Orchestra, and Spanish at a local community college. The only problem is that you claim to get home around 8-10. At night? Every night? Even with my clubs (I stay after every day for a different club), I'm done by 4 and I usually walk to the community center or library to do homework and get picked up at 7:30. When I get home, I practice violin and on some days I have dance. I think it's just time management.

Lappelduvide: At my school, many juniors take AP Bio and AP Chem concurrently. AP Physics and AP Bio less so (Some choose to take these two classes concurrently their senior year). AP Stats is one of the easiest AP classes offered at my high school, and AP Physics is one of the hardest. I would go with AP Bio and AP Stats based on what the classes are like where I go to!
