So today I served my first session as chairman of the Youth City council. I was awkward and confused in the beginning, but I ended up doing pretty good (You gotta love the sheriff calling you sir haha.) The other kids on the council said that I don't know how to deal with elementary school kids though (2 elementary school kids addressed the council.) Apparently my normal speaking patterns sound hostile when directed at little kids. I think I was trying so hard to treat them like adults and not be condescending that that happened, but whatever next time I'll work on it.
Then I went to basketball tryouts. I have officially made it past the 1st (of two) cuts. Gotta have some improvement by next week, if I wanna make the team though. The coach likes me though, so thats a plus.

I know the Oxford summer course has had trips to Paris as part of it's business course in the past. Oxford Summer Course Dont know if they still do that tho...

Basketball tryouts are so nerve wracking. At this point its a complete toss up whether I'll make it. There's literally twice as many people trying out this year than last year :/
Oh and CEM idk. I think it starts after school Dec 21- coincidence I think not

goodnoodle, I`m sure you will. Don`t doubt. If that doesn`t work, you could be a Michael Phelps look-a-like.
Our last day is the 14th. We go back the 2nd then.

^Thanks haha The coach seems to like me. I have a "rare" height. I'm 6', and then two guys are 6'3 and 6'5. Then the next tallest in 5'10. So if I get in itll be cause of that. We have a lot of guards but few forwards (not sure how well you know basketball terms but in case you dont guard=short forward=tall.)
And whether I make basketball or not, Im probably joining swim this year haha

Not even the height though but the long armspan and giant feet haha I feel like this was already discussed.
