Speaking of PSATs, when are you guys receiving your scores? I'm so anxious to see mine as I really hope I got at least a 220....I find it strange how they grade the actual SATs faster than the PSATs...ehh whatever I guess I can stand the wait.

OK, except for goodnoodle`s school, December

My school is also prone to not giving things back right away....but I remember the 10th graders last year got their scores back in December, so....hopefully the same will apply for our class.

I remember 11th grade got There's the last day before winter break. Me and some of the sophomores snuck in and convinced the counselor to give it.

My Goals for 2012-2013 School Year:

Stay in my graduating class's top 10

Keep grades good enough for getting into AP Lang, APUSH, Pre-AP Pre-Calc, and college-level finance next year

Get 1st place in Forestry in Science Olympiad

Get above 90 on the Chemistry, Algebra 2/Trig, English, and Global Regents

@petlover: Hey I do Science Olympiad too! Although the officers are still figuring out the teams and stuff. (We had to do 3 weeks of testing first and I think they're averaging the scores now)...

@lulloftheocean science olympiad is that complicated at your high school? lucky...at my school we just have "science contest club" which consists of about 10 students that do science olympiad, science bowl, and envirothon.
at my middle school, my 7th grade year was when the school restarted doing science olympiad after 15 years of not doing it. we placed 25th out of 42 and got 3 medals (1st in ornithology-that was me!). 8th grade, we had enough kids to have 2 teams, and at regionals the a-team placed 5th and got like 8 medals and the B-team placed 16th (even though they only got 1 medal, 6th place). we made it to states and I was the only one who medalled (4th in ornithology).
at my high school in a new district, last year we placed 43rd out of 50 and i got 3rd in forestry. no one really seems to care about science olympiad here; even though the team has been active since 1995 I don't think we've ever gotten a 1st place medal. I do really miss science olympiad being such a big clique, but then again I'm not that much into it since theres no ornithology any more

@petlover1022: Oh yeah I guess it's different for each school :/ They posted stats for all the tests, but to be honest I'm not even sure if I will be able to make the team since I go to an extremely competitive school that's like 33% asian lol. I think our school was 1st for chem lab last year at Nationals, but I don't know about the other competitions considering I didn't try out for stem last year.

How are your extracurricular activities, guys? I applied for some pretty big stuff, so I'm biting my nails until I get a response in December!
