So today we went to CADA leadership conference at Disney (which apparently no one else of CC went to.) It was cool. I had to wake up a 3:40 AM though to get on the bus at 4:30 uhhhh. The best part was the bus ride though. While everyone was trying to sleep I was for some reason super energized and me and two of my friends kept everyone awake by singing (badly.) And at 5AM we started making phone calls to everyone on my contact list. We left a voicemail for one of the 2012 class members and he said it made his day.

The actual workshops at the conference were decently cool. I got a bunch of new rally ideas like repelling our President from the ceiling (he didnt like that idea when I brought it up.) And one of the workshops involved networking and talking to strangers. Surprised about how many "you have a nice smile"s I got. At the end there were all these bouncing houses and stuff where we all got to act like little kids haha.

The ride back was tight. Me and my friend recorded our own (vulgar) icarly type episode. Everything was cool till we were play fighting and she got flustered and accidentally punched me in the face. She felt bad but I laughed it off. It's starting to turn into a black eye though, but overall it was a cool day. Im so tired now, and it's not even 5.

Yeah that is something that'd conclude my day. I kept grabbing her leg (it was a reference to an earlier joke so I wasn't being a creep) and she was hitting me in the shoulder (it was more playful than angry.) Then she picked up an empty water bottle and tried hitting me with that but it flew out her hands and she ended up hitting me in the face. It was right below the eye so it hurt a lot but only for a few seconds. I'm not angry or anything. I still let her sleep on me when she got tired.

I know I'm changing the subject, but what are all of your plans for SAT/ACT testing (if you've thought about it yet)? Are you taking it once junior & once senior year? Twice junior year? As many times as you need to in order to get a certain score?
I really want to be able to prep a lot for the SAT over the summer and take it once in junior year and hopefully get around or above a 2300, but I know that's very unrealistic. How about you guys?

@cem i guess it was borderline flirting haha. But I'm pretty good friends with her boyfriend, and even though she's really pretty I'm not really that attracted to her, so no plans on follow up.

@rose no problem on changing the subject. Me and cem don't own this thread (even though some would disagree haha.) Uhm I'm not really thinking about SAT. I want 2200. I think the standard is junior spring and senior fall? I might take the ACT senior year once since that's becoming popular in our school

Ha, SURE your good friends with her boyfriend. That`s what they all say, and then they steal the girlfriend.

I'm not expecting a high score, but I'm really hoping. I know if I prep enough I will be able to do it. I just really want to get my PSAT results so that I will kind of know where I stand.
On a side note, this one junior in my school recently scored a 2400 on her October SAT. I was amazed when I heard it because I thought it was nearly impossible to do so. And this is a normal girl too, not some girl sitting at home studying 24/7. I was just really impressed

I think I'm going to take it junior year right when school starts because I really don't want to take it more than once. That happened to me with the sat bio and it was really annoying because I had to re-study everything since by the time I took it the second time, I had already forgotten most of the material As for the SAT I'm aiming for 2200+. However, I don't think I'm going to take the ACT as it's not that popular where I live.

@rose: What are the SAT averages for your school? Just curious b/c there's a lot of asian people at my school so scoring a 2300-2400 is not really a surprise. It really sucks though because I'm asian myself and I constantly feel the pressure of doing extremely well (on everything basically).

Oh and as for EC's:
UNICEF club
Project Sunshine
STEM
MHS/tutor thing
FHS, NAHS, NHHS, NEHS
art
xc/track
I plan to work at Kumon (tutor little kids ahaha) in the spring, and hopefully an internship at the local hospital over the summer. (keeping my fingers crossed lol)

@rose I think the high score at our school this year was between 1900 and 2000. The valedictorian has an 1830 and 30 ACT.

@cem I will mail you $20 if I start dating her. I've known the boyfriend since 1st grade. They're planning on getting married and all that. Some of the guys on the bus took pictures of her sleeping on me and wanna send them to him lol.

^haha that would be SO funny if they did. No, most people will just fall asleep on the guys on the way back from field trips and whatnot, it`s just a normal thing. Actually, one of my guy friends fell asleep on this girl on time. very funny.
