My AP Bio class is doing the properties of water, which is apparently my teacher's favorite chemical.
I didn't even know it was POSSIBLE to have a favorite chemical :0. If I'm going to go into a science-related field, maybe I'd better acquire one...

I think it's safe to say that my desire to go to a "top" college is completely gone, and it's only September.

^ Same, at this point, my only goal is to get into any college and hope like heck I can pay for it.

Why did your desire disappear?

Is anyone taking the Oct. 6th SAT? If so, you'll be joining me. I'm nervous about it, but I feel prepared.

@ATP: Well, it's not like the work load is going to lessen. Right now, I spend pretty much all of my free time working, and I don't want my college experience to be like that. Once band is over I'll have ~20 hours a week to have a social life, but until then...

@ATPmolecule: Not trying to brag, but same thing here. I mean, I have a decent amount of homework each night and plus I play four sports but I still have plenty of time for a social life - especially on the weekends. Heck, sometimes I feel like I have too little to do on Saturdays, lol.

Yeah, my social life is a little diminished though, but I don't mind too much. There aren't many people who get me anyway.

We had our first major APUSH test the other day, apparently we are receiving a huge curve on it because the highest score was a 62. Why did I sign up for this class?

Maybe it's just my school. We're in the bottom 30% for test scores in CT, so my school is known for having large AP course loads to make up for the other ~150 courses.

@Artsy: I'm turning in my 1st FRQ today and my 1st DBQ Tuesday. Let's just say that neither of them are going too well.
