I've read it twice and It's still a little blurry, but I'm staying after on Wednesday. There wasn't any school today because it was a teacher work day lol. I really needed this day too -.- for extra help.

I'll read it for a third time, then take a nap. I have practice with my band tonight at 7:30 so I'll take my book there.

@onuho123 Yes, I am taking the December ACT

You guys make me happy that my school does not have AP Chem (the only AP sciences we have are AP Bio and AP Physics B)

Got an 86 on my chem test (molecular geometries, orbitals, molecular orbitals, hybridization) /without/ extra credit. Would've had a 90+ had it not been for stupid mistakes/laziness (I hate drawing Lewis structures... but it was necessary for one of the multiple choices. I decided to guess xD), but I'm extremely pleased because it's the best score I've gotten on a test this year, and like I said ... no extra credit (she gives around 6-8 points for answering brainteaser-esque questions correctly for each test).

This thread is so dead. I rescued it from the bottom of the 3rd page. Come on, juniors. We're all stressed overachievers. We should have plenty of things to talk about

Today I was freaking out.

So about 2 weeks ago I discovered this awesome summer program, and the deadline was today at 7:59 PM. All week, I've been chipping away at this (very extensive) application, which includes 5 essays, a teacher recommendation letter, a parent recommendation letter, a mailed consent letter and a transcript. (Thankfully, all the mailed stuff is due next month, but anyway.)

So, being the fantastic procrastinator that I am, I put off everything until the last minute. Today I wrote 4 essays, the last two of which I started at 7:04 PM.

7:25 PM. Frantically typing.

7:42 PM. Finished one. Crap, application's due 17 in minutes.

7:45 PM. *Starts last essay* OK, I have time. I'll be fine.

7:55 PM. Oh. My God. I'm not even done. *Startstypingnonsense*

7:56 PM *LOGS ON* IT TAKES SO LONG TO LOAD.

7:58 PM *COPY AND PASTE.* Breathe. *COPY AND PASTE.*

7:59 PM Why isn't it working? What...one of my essays is over the word limit?
NOOO, this is not happening. *deletes important sentence, hits resubmit*

8:00 PM *crosses fingers, waits for blank page to load, prays that the time stamp will say "7:59 PM"*

It doesn't. It says "8:00 PM."

I missed the deadline by one minute.

Catchtwentythree.

Something similar happened to me on Tuesday. I had to submit a proposal and mail signatures to a city some 300 miles away. I sent the stuff by express but JUST missed the mail sorting deadline

^ 4/5 of us had a 3-hour FaceBook pow-wow when we had to do the write-up for a Calorimetry lab because none of us had any idea about what the hell we were doing.

Chapter 32, tf? That leaves like 10 chapters second semester... what are you guys going to do?!

We're on Chapter 18 now, and I thought we were going fast.. but considering there are 42 chapters, I guess we need to stay on this ridiculous pace.
