how has everyone in the ny/nj area been doing during no school november?
we've lost 12 school days in my district, and **** is really starting to hit the fan.
our second quarter grades are now replacing our first quarter grades (which i am SOSOSO grateful for), all tests have been cancelled for this week, and midterms may be cancelled.

I got back my Biology quiz today. I'm pretty sad about it because I got an 86 when I thought I had done pretty well. Also, I realized I got at least 3 wrong on th Biology test we took a few days ago because my teacher weirdly explained mitosis and I got all confused on the test...
I'm especially sad because it had been my goal to get an A+ in Biology this year.

Got a 100 on my LE and MO model AP Chem test, literally made my week!
Tomorrow my school (Literally like 45 kids out of 60 in the highschool, yes we are that small) is going to see Carmen in Atlanta, then I fly to Maryland to play soccer!

Midterms all this week. I think I did decently well on Greek, Latin, and Humanities, and very well on US and Calculus AB. Tomorrow is Physics B which will be by far my hardest exam.

These next three or four days wil be brutal. Calc test, large Physics project, physics test, research paper, multiple mandarin projects, a mandarin test, and a history quiz.
Oh well. I guess being a junior had to kick in sometime...

Tomorrow is the first Friday that I don't have any sort of assessment! Woohoo! I am so happy! And I'm leaving for D.C. tomorrow after school which makes the day even better.

SirSam: I made it to state for GHP, too. Except mine was in music.
I have tests in class periods 1 - 5, leaving only 6 and 7 without a test. Way to start Thanksgiving break. :/

Oh man. Life is pretty good. These past two days, I haven't had anything due, so I've just gone home and slept through the entire day and morning. And then after today, I have a 9 day break just to chill. My grades are pretty good right now. When I get back, only 3 more weeks and then I'm off again for winter break.

@collegeluva101
My school does three terms which are divided into lists (2 per term). At the end of the first term we have midterms and at the end of the third term we have finals. It's pretty ridiculous actually, midterms used to be after the 2nd term but people said that was too close to finals so now they're after the first term which is silly because we have hardly gotten into anything yet.
