My film teacher said we could;t work with the same person as last time! YES. We technically got to pick our groups but I got stuck with my incompetent, stupid "friend" so when he announced it me and him (my ex-partener) started screaming. We've worked together (involuntarily) for 3 projects this year. UGH

@SirSamAlot Yeah, right now my list is at 16 I think, trying to get it down to nine plus the school I am applying ED to. No idea if I will be able to do it though, I am making myself at least get it down to 12 including my ED school. How many safeties do you have?

I have three safeties (UGA, Georgia State, and Valdosta State). I really banking on being a Questbridge Scholar to apply to multiple out of state colleges for free. However, if I don't get it, I'll probably apply to 5 in-state schools (including GA Tech and Emory) and two or three out of state with the biggest being Harvard SCEA.

@Sir I have about 5 on mine, I can't think of anymore.
For my essay for this internship, we have to write about our goals, our interest and little life story. The limit is 4,000 characters and I'm WAY passed that and I have no clue what to take out. I think I should take out my college dreams and stuff like that.

@SirSamAlot Yeah, I haven't decided if I want to apply to Questbridge or not. My stats will probably be high enough, but I don't know if I want to give up ED. Right now my safeties are Allegheny, Bryn Mawr, Denison, Juniata and Lafayette. Though I really want to cut that list to no more then two or three. I am probably going to be applying in a really unbalanced way with the same number of reaches as matches and safeties combined.

grrr right now i have a list of colleges I'm interested in but I think I may have just killed my semester grades and so the chances of any school on my list. But, assuming things can get better, my list is as follows:
-the UCs (UCLA - high reach, UCSD - low reach, etc. I don't like Berkeley so I won't apply)
-Scripps/Pitzer/Pomona (pretty reachy)
-Willamette (reach)
-Bryn Mawr
-Wellesley
-Vassar
and etc. basically things that are too high for me right now....

@loljk I only two safeties also. I'm a little afraid of getting rejected too. When I received my letter of acceptance from the NHS, I was so afraid to open it. I waited until the next day to open it lol.

Honors Physics
AP US History
Honors Spanish 3
Honors British Literature
Honors Algebra 2/Trig
Honors Debate
So far I don't care about much this year. Although so far I'm doing really well. I have to get all A's, just so colleges can give the blind eye to my Sophomore grades.

Yes!!! I have UC Berkeley, UCLA, UMich, U. of Illinois, Carnegie Mellon, Columbia, and USC. I'm from Illinois btw. I know I have a lot of schools in Cali but I want to go to school there so bad. Especially Berkeley. I'm scared I might not get in, so I'm working extra hard this school year. UMich, UCLA, and U of Illinois will be easiest to get in, in my opinion.

If I become a Questbridge Scholar, I know I'll also apply to Princeton, Brown, Stanford, and USC. With or without Questbridge, I'll still apply to Yale and University of Penn.

Well, I did poorly by my standards this first term of the year. 3.77 GPA (had above 4.0 last two years) even though I got all As on my exams. I need to step up my game.
Anyone know any good productivity software type stuff?
