Toast is pretty great, but among the things I associate with the British (crappy tea, bad weather, indentured servitude, yellow teeth), toast doesn't really come up.

Yeah, it has rained a lot this summer here as well. I feel like every time I go to sleep it's been raining.

It's never a constant rain, though. There will be a random 20 minute thunderstorm followed by a few hours of sunshine, then repeat.
