You don't need to worry about APs as a freshman. Every school is different, but at mine we can only take the classes in 11 and 12. I wouldn't worry about self studying just yet.

I want to join Mathletes or the Academic Decathalon. It seems like fun. Maybe drama club too.

^ Unless you're going for the Siemens scholarship.

Then I'd start early. Same if you're going for your state's AP scholar. (I only took bio during soph year and nothing during frosh year, and so now I have to take so many science exams omg. So glad I live in a bad state haha)

In my dream world I would just not work at all but somehow still have a regular income. That way I'd have time to pursue my less lucrative interests.

Neurologist baby, aiming high. Although I do want to join Doctors Without Borders, who, according to their website, have no need for neurologists. In that case, I'll maybe do a double residency in Internal Medicine and Neurology? That'll be a lot of work but SO worth it in DWB. Neurology is kinda my obsession, so either way, I'm doing something with it.

Same, swinter - it's very hard to make a good living as a musician, regardless of talent.

@foodlover001 maybe, but probably not neurosurgeon. WAY too much liability. Whatever my specialty may be, I just know that I have this innate desire to travel the world and help those in need. Probably not my whole life, but definitely a good chunk. DWB is perfect for that.

I want to be a clinical psychologist. I think (if I still feel the same way in four years) I want to major in psychology and minor in English, because I love writing and reading stories about mental illnesses. If I could write novels like that for a living, it would be amazing. But I'll just settle for being a psychologist while maybe writing on the side. :P

Agreed with swinter.
I don't know what to pursue in the future. I've considered politics or philosophy, but philosophy isn't a particularly lucrative field of work.

I want to be a mildly famous composer, like John Mackey.

I want to be in the Coast Guard or a photographer. (I know, such 'high career ambitions'...)
