Seniors do leave early. The rest of school gets out a week after we do.

Our seniors don't. In fact, they can be exempt from finals, but only a maximum of two. Those who take a lot of AP courses are stuck with continuing to work hard until they graduate, which kind of sucks, honestly.

At our school, all students of any grade can be exempt from finals if they have a 93 average or higher for the semester and at teacher discretion.

This is in addition to seniors graduating two weeks early.

I just got out yesterday, and I got sick today. Summer colds suck big time.

As for my plans....

Youth Court
Online Gym Class
Summer Assignments for Honors English 10 and AP Environmental Science
Helping out at a Special Olympics camp
Getting in shape for tennis season
Possible three day trip to Seattle.

Our seniors are exempt from any class as long as they have an A (89.5+) in and they don't have extenuating absences. They also leave a week early. If they have tons of AP classes they really pretty much reek havoc after the exam.

2 full weeks of school left, then exams on the 3rd week.
It's been pretty chaotic, as all projects and final tests are going to be either this upcoming week or the following one.

My summer? Going to visit Germany and Poland, then chill for a month at home

I get out on June 1st!
What I want to do over the summer is:

- Volunteering
- Work (really trying to find a job... it could be possible though)
- A research internship at my local university/state flagship (really hoping I can get in! I applied recently)
- A little internship (a few days) for a summer camp for a choir I'm in
- AP summer work/Pre-AP studio art work
- Pre-Calc online (a lot of it /is/ review, so it shouldn't be bad)
- Maybe study for the SAT and other things a little bit
- Field hockey camp/pre-season, maybe some tennis
- Maybe see if there are any opportunities for performances related to singing.. and keep practicing piano!
- Relax.

@DavidSSabb94 - They make you take pictures of yourself working out, which is really creepy.

The next few weeks are going to suck, as the amount of weekly physical activity I need to do is bumped up from four hours a week to twelve hours a week. I'm an active individual, but even for me, that's a lot.

LOL just put on workout clothes and pose!
Why do you have to do that anyway, akacesfan? Did you like, fail regular gym class...?
