This year the seniors camped in the parking lot overnight and didn't let juniors in, in the morning. The principal was a bit annoyed off because teachers where whining that juniors were late so he went and yelled at them. He threatened to give them tickets but none got any. The police actually got called at night because of a noise complaint, but they did not in trouble or even told to leave (even though it is trespassing). Generally our community is pretty open to these things, and I haven't ever heard of them causing major property damage.

This morning, the seniors had a pool party in the pool during one of the periods lol, then the wonderful attendance office (as always...) marked them all truant or something along the lines of that.

Things that are harmless fun are much better.
That's why I LOVED the kegger idea when I heard about it. It was funny, scared the crap out of the teachers who saw it, and no damage was left behind.

Also, here is an image of the old location of a local tech/AP high school in the area. (it's kind of hard to explain, but it's a program where you spend usually half a day taking CTE or AP classes not offered at the other schools). The school moved after the class of 2011 graduated. The kids who did this are so epic. - https://maps.google.com/maps?q=1615+...ed=0CAsQ8gEwAA

Our amazing, fabulous seniors wrote "YOLO" on two windows.

Does that even qualify as a prank?

Our senior class attempted several "pranks". The first was that a bunch of seniors would throw about 2000 bouncy balls onto the floor at the end of our last assembly. However, some guy was caught trying to sell bouncy balls during his English class, so the administration found out about the prank and forced everyone to throw the balls away.
The second was some boys drawing inappropriate things on the football field... The day before the Special Olympics was hosted at our school.
The third looked pretty cool: some girls had a flour fight in the parking lot after school one day. It actually looked really cool with the wind and the flour going everywhere, but they got in trouble, and it wasn't on a large enough scale for it to be a successful prank.
The last prank was the best one. On the last day of school, a few very clever people distributed a fake newspaper around the school called "Beer Facts" (our real school newspaper is called Bear Facts), complete with fake polls, fake editor names, an article making fun of freshmen, a criticism of other attempted pranks, and other various hilarious things. It was so funny and well-written the administration didn't even get mad or bother trying to figure out who did it (we later found out it was a couple of editors for the real newspaper).

Not cool:

Quote:
Seniors in C.K. McClatchy High School's class of 2012 tried to leave their mark on the school with peanut butter, spray paint, toilet paper and eggs, but their "senior prank" efforts turned dangerous and dozens of them have been banned from graduation ceremonies Friday.

About 30 students sprayed profane graffiti, wrapped toilet paper, pitched eggs and smeared peanut butter throughout the Land Park school's campus overnight Sunday as part of a senior prank. The extensive nature of the hijinks led to one student with a peanut allergy being sent to a doctor and others not being able to attend school.

. . .

The price tag on the prank, which will exceed $5,000, is another cause of worry for the already-struggling Sacramento City Unified School District, which has been hit with budget cuts.

Not only will the seniors involved be banned from walking in graduation, but Lambert also intends to seek restitution.

Lambert said he has involved McClatchy High's resource officer in his investigations, and the nature of the damage launches it into the vandalism category. Between 25 and 32 people in the nearly 500-member senior class are being investigated, Lambert said.

My son's senior class planned to have a giant watergun fight in the school courtyard. The administration found out and moved them to the football field, but they had a blast. Everyone got soaked, including the principal and the vice principal.

One year the senior class released hundreds of crickets in the auditorium... they bred and you can still hear them today! Our pranks were all little ones and on the last day we did a flash dance which was really fun... especially seeing all the underclassman's faces!

There were bras hanging on all the doorknobs of the classrooms with a note that said: "We're BUSTin' outta here!"

All time best - goes back several decades. A friend of mine did this at his high school. One night they staked out their graduation year ('81) on the front lawn of the high school, and used drop-spreaders to put grass seed & fertilizer in the shape of the number. Then they pulled up the stakes and left. In August, when they left for college, they went back to look at their high school. There was a giant "81" screaming from the center of the front lawn. It was harmless and lasted several years.

Our senior class did a harry potter themed senior prank. We basically put up posters all over the school to make it look like hogwarts (well...kind of). The best part was that under this huge banner that said "the chamber of secrets has been unlocked", there were a ton (like a whole hallways worth) of promiscuous and embarrassing pics of the underclassmen that a bunch of seniors had gotten off of fb and printed out. As soon as the underclassmen saw them, a bunch of them started crying and tearing them off the walls. On one hand, I felt kind of bad for them but on the other hand, it was a good lesson to watch what you put on fb

At my school the seniors took all the chairs in the entire school and placed them In the football field. Cool thing about it was that they arranged the chairs to spell out class of 2012. Then everyone had to get out of their 1 st period class to help put the chairs back into the classrooms.

Funny thing was that the janitor and police officer helped set up the prank.

I was involved in my school's "senior prank" this year. We bought five gorilla suits and one banana suit online. On the third Friday in May during lunch period, we got into one of the 'secret' rooms in our school to change into our costumes without anyone seeing us. I wore the banana suit.

Then we snuck around the back side of school where no one would see us, slowly circling our way towards the front of the school. One wall of our cafeteria is all window looking out to the front of school, so once we would get to the front of the school, the majority of the people in our school would see us.

The gorillas took the lead coming around the corner to the front of the school. They started play fighting with each other and knocking on the window to the lunch room. Kids who were eating inside started getting up, pointing and laughing. One freshman girl who was outside with several of her friends started screaming and running away as fast as she could. (Apparently, she has a gorilla-phobia.)

Then I came around the corner in my banana costume minding my business. The gorillas circled me, and I subsequently karate-kicked them all down. Then I ran inside the school, followed closely behind by the gorillas. As I ran in, right past our principal's office, it just so happened that another freshman girl with gorilla-phobia (or maybe banana-phobia?) started running away from us.

As we ran a loop around the school on the course we had planned, the girl continued to take the exact same turns that we did, until she finally ducked into the girl's bathroom. As we ran down the hallways, teachers started laughing, wondering what in the world was going on. Our principal heard the ruckus and apparently sprinted out of his office, assuming that a fight was breaking out.

Then we ran through the cafeteria, dodging around students and past another one of my teachers, whose laugh could be heard all the way down the hallway. Finally, we made a loop around the middle school (which is connected to our high school) and then returned back to our secret room to change back into normal clothes to eat lunch, in awe wondering who was wearing the costumes.

Many teachers later applauded our 'prank', saying it was the best one the school had experienced because people enjoyed it and it caused no harm. Because of this, I was proud to be a part of it.

In regards to other pranks, I think the root beer one sounds awesome! Wish I could of thought of that!
