what is this called

when people work really hard on something, with lots effort and focus, and get significant gratification out of the process, but then aren't happy with the product or how they spent their time and end up feeling angry at something.

like people who make art but then rip it up .. or feelings after playing video games .. or moms working hard to take care of their their kids but then resenting the kids for it. yeah?

That's why the process is the best part and make sure you enjoy it, because you won't be sure if the outcome is what you wanted.
