Well I read it about two years ago when I was fifteen. I agree that the book kind of sucks. I remember a lot of it was about how Raskolnikov hardly ever ate anything lol, but I guess it got more interesting towards the end because it was pretty suspenseful. Idk why teachers make us read this book. I know I'm going to have to read it again for AP English Lit., but they should have made us read Dostoevsky's "The Brothers Karamazov", which in my opinion is way more interesting and a masterpiece.

I read it. I really liked it. One my favorite books I've had to read for English. The book has some very interesting ideas about morality and conformity.

The book is not fun to read in the Harry Potter sense. It is fun to read in the "hmmmm... interesting" sense.

Then again, I'm the kind of person who thinks philosophy is really interesting.

I like it, but then again, I'm really weird and enjoy reading obscure things that most of my friends aren't into.

At first, it was really boring (but then again, aren't all books extremely boring in the beginning? -coughthehobbitcough-) but it got better.

I just finished it for my AP Lit summer reading and it wasn't as bad as I expected it to be. However, while I was reading it I hated it just because it is part of my summer reading.
