My school is fairly athletic, not artsy at all, and not very academically inclined for the most part. Our schools is a school of extremes. The stupid kids at our school are really stupid, and the smart kids at our school are incredibly smart (Princeton, Stanford, Harvard, Yale, MIT).

Golf and tennis are really hard sports, but at my school, both of those teams suck so no one pays them any mind

My school was mostly academics and there were really artsy people. This made our sports teams not so greats

The artsy fartsies are known to be very smart too, so if schools have one of those I think they other would be apparent at some level as well. We have a very strong art and music dept at our school, and because of it our academic levels are much higher than any other local schools.

My school is huuuge so there's a whole range of kids, but being a cheerleader, I guess I am biased toward saying that our school is focused on athletics more.

I wish it was artsy, so people would be more appreciative of the creative students. There are so many individually talented people that hardly get recognition since they don't belong to a sports team.

My high school is very athletic, but academics are pretty good too. They offer a good number of APs, it's just that most people don't take a lot of them. Art is pretty good. We're aren't an art school, but there are a lot of people that take art as an elective. It's not like if you don't take a sport you're not popular, it's more of the fact that most people take up a sport.

My school is pretty equally academic and sporty. It actually happens to be that a few athletic kids are also highly academic. It's not like if you don't play a sport, you're not popular, but more like most popular people play a sport.

My high school is huge. There are either extremely below average kids, or very bright kids. Almost each AP is offered, but I would say we are more athletic.

^Yeah. That's it. The most popular people play a sport. Some people that play sports at my school are academically inclined.

Athletic/Academic. Everyone's required to play sports, and the academics are top notch. There are plenty of artistic outlets, but I wouldn't say the arts program is particularly thriving. More than anything, i think the administration just doesn't focus on the arts enough--they take a backseat to, say the boys' varsity lacrosse team [though they deserve praise too--they were the champions in our league]. Of all the arts, the theatre program is definitely the best imo. Not like I'm biased or anything [i am...i'm a diehard techie ]

our school is so tiny to where it only depends on each grade. For instance, this past senior class was really hipster and not into athletics or academics that much. Our class is very academically inclined, as probably 30% of it is aiming for top 30 schools in nation as well as athletically inclined as there are only 2 people in it out of 45 that don't play a sport

Large public school with a student body of around 4000, my school is mostly academic, although we shine in sports regularly (Top Cross-Country team in the Nation 2010-2011). But academics is our best, we send about 30 people to Ivy Leagues a year, with a lot of acceptances to UCLA and UC Berkeley
