Most schools around where I live start end of August/beginning of September, but our school starts right in the middle of August, on a Wednesday! We ended in the beginning of June, but still, it's kind of strange. Does your school do this too?

Early September, methinks. School doesn't start until like the 10th, but Seniors have to get there a week early.

Mine starts September 2nd for varsity athletes, September 3rd for everyone else, and classes start September 7th. Seniors and Proctors start earlier than us athletes but I'm not sure the date.

Schools in Minnesota have to start the day after Labor Day. It's a state law.. so if schools wanna start earlier they have to "jump through hoops"

This is the longest summer we've had. (which means the next one will be inevitably shorter). We got out June 8th and go back Sept 4th.
