good idea for freshman year?

hey, so i'm starting freshman year next month and talked with my counselor about my future schedule and pretty much recieved these classes.

marching band
biology honors
english 1/2
algebra 2 honors
mandarin 1/2
foods 1/2

I really don't know if it would be too stressful for ninth grade though. help?

Chill out. I'm a freshman too and I have some similar classes to you: algebra 2, biology, and honors English. They're not too bad. (I know because I've already started school.) You'll be fine.

Honors classes really aren't that "high level". Especially if you are the type that gets homework in on time and studies. You'll be fine.

You'll be fine, trust me. I took advanced algebra 2 in eighth grade and it was a piece of cake. Marching band and foods doesn't seem very hard, and I'm also taking honors English and honors bio as a freshman.

You'll be fine! Honors classes are pretty straightforward at my school. Just do your homework when it's assigned and you'll be fine.

Eng and Bio Hon will be easy if you do the work. You shouldnt really need to study for them (unless its before a big test.) I'm taking Alg II Hon right now over the summer as a rising sophomore, and at the speed it is during summer, it's somewhat difficult, but during the normal school year it shouldnt be too bad. I took spanish and it was pretty easy (it's easy to figure out fill in the blanks with common sense) so the same should apply to mandarin. Food seems like a blowoff class, and although after taking middle school band I question your sanity for wanting to be in band (jk haha), it's usually just playing tests and participation if I'm correct? Good luck
