Problems with my new schedule

I'm taking ap us, ap calc, & ASB and because these classes are only offered during 1st & 2nd period, I have to pick two out of the three. I want to continue to be ranked #1 of my class, so taking all the AP classes is important to me. The thing is ASB is an important extracurricular to have for me because I have almost none xD lol except for community service & link crew. If you guys were me, which of the two would you guys pick? I want to see the majority of what you guys would do.

Here are my classes for junior year
•ap calc
• APUSH
• ap bio
•avid
• ap Lang
• asb

...what's an asb.

i'd pick asb (whatever the heck that is) IF it was something I really loved/had done for a while, plus one of the AP's (they both sound icky but APUSH sounds better).

^ASB is student government.
Take ASB, and take AP Calf. At such a high level of math you probably don't have many non-AP options, and colleges want to see math for all four years!

AVID is a program to help "middle ground" (low income, first gen) students succeed, get into honors classes, and attend college. Various field trips and speakers are usually invited in throughout the year. My school just graduated its first class with a 100% four year college acceptance rate. At least, at my school that's what AVID is.

Avid is a college prep class at my school that offers ton of scholarship, helps students with sat, college applications, and college in general.

Smarty1201, what's your track record with AP classes? Like, what scores did you receive on the exams?

talk to your counsillor maybe? .

my advice would be to not worry about the AP classes and being ranked number 1, since i think you would be a happier person and better friend if you didn't (that's my guess...)

of course it may be a little unhappy when you lose your rank. but then it would likely be better than before i think. wanting something just so you can keep having it and not lose it seems kind of sad to me.

Yeah, worse case scenario I'll drop APUSH & take regular. Which suuuuucks because I already did the summer work

I would take AP US History and AP Calculus because they're AP classes and you want to remain #1.
If you want to take ASB because you need ECs, find new ones that don't interfere with your scheduled classes?

Did you plan to take Calculus BC? Does your school offer AP Calculus AB? I had to switch my BC class for AB because it wouldn't fit.

If your school doesn't have both AB and BC, I say you take AP Calc and ASB, because it's always good to have an elective

I want the best in both worlds.... So I emailed my APUSH teacher (haven't gotten a reply back) & called my school's administrator like 5 times today, but the office people said he/she is at a meeting..... Ahhhhh lol then I talked to the other people at my school that have the privilege to help me... & they said they'll try their best. -.- man! I hope they're not giving me false hopes....
