What classes do you kick butt in?

What class or classes do you just steal the show, if any. Are you THAT kid that just validates your teacher's decision to go into teaching? For me, it's AP English. 55 minutes of the spotlight shining on me and only me.

lol.

Yes. I acknowledge how pretentious and self absorbed this post is.
No. I do not care.

For me, it's always been math. Ever since middle school, I've always been the "teacher's pet" in math class, and I don't sense that changing anytime in the near future. In math this year, I basically go around and help anyone who needs it and explain new concepts to them because I already studied many of the topics over the summer.

Eh, it`s always been history, but this year, since it`s AP, really nobody`s "stealing the show"...we`ll see as time goes on, but I`m used to being the star student and I kind of feel dumb now. U.S history is more of my thing than World. But definitely my English class...I think my writing has made my teacher go, "WHOA!"...that`s me bragging ! But compared to the other kids, I`m by far the smartest, aside from one other person (Wow that makes me seem shallow, but it`s not AP or honors, so it`s just random people from the same grade). Unfortunately, I have to wait until 11th to take AP English, so we`ll see next year.

And I just rambled....

I've always been so good at Spanish; everyone in the class asks for my help. But my teacher doesn't like me too much because I just sit there, bored, the entire class, waiting for people to catch up.

I'm really good in science and any subject other than math. Right now my absolute kickbutt class is AP Psychology. Now I know you all are going to say its SOO easy but at my school its actually a really hard class with my teacher. Needless to say, I have 97 in that class while everyone else has below a 90. (an A at my school is a 93+)

I'm doing really well in all my classes and I'm usually...THAT KID. English is really easy for me too.

Math and Science. I finish things while the teacher's teaching then sit around talking, read, help other people or be bored

^That was totally me last year in Science, English, and history...everyone would basically ask for help non-stop and then I`d do homework for other classes.

Yeah I'd do that too. Me and this one other kid were both in Physics and Chem last year and Chem was soooooo easy for us and no one else got it, so we'd finish our homework and read during class while everyone else got frustrated over our teachers explanations.

Calculus. I say calculus because math is too general.

I know I haven't taken anything beyond multivariable, so obviously I'm not gauging my skills completely, but I can't say I've enjoyed a class as much as calculus. It's like reading a book, honestly. I led the entire class last year during our nightly study sessions, and was put in charge every time there was a substitute. Yes, I was that kid. People asked me for help, but I tried to play it down by telling them to ask the teacher instead.

It was the most amazing experience in the world, to finally understand what calculus is. I was so horridly intimidated by it as a sophomore. I loved building the foundation and learning the basics, when you just GET why those are the derivatives, and how the volumes are rotated, and whether or not the series converges. You know when everything just clicks? Yeah.

Even taking MVC wasn't as great, because I already knew what I was doing. First year calc was the best.

And now I'm taking stats...

Math, but more Music Theory. Music Theory consists of me getting 100 in a class while others get C's and D's, and I spend most of my time there helping one of the seniors with math.

Math, I'm self studying an entire GCSE extra in it.
Also history, because I enjoy it so much I spend a lot of time reading books on the topics and time periods we're studying, meaning for specific things I know more than the teacher. This is particularly true of anything WW1 related, which I basically spend my life researching, even when we aren't doing it in class.
