How bad is it to drop a CP class?

1) Econ honors/ AP Gov second semester
2)AP LIT
3)AP BIO
4)PRE-CAL
5)STATS
6) PHYSICS

So far, it takes me forever to do hw, and I barely have time for my friends anymore. I barely get any sleep. Maybe my time management needs to improve, I know.

I was thinking of dropping Stats, or/and physics /: They aren't AP classes, and i'm probably going to re-take this in college anyways.

I use to be a straight A-B student throughout the years. My grades for senior year is now submerging.

I was thinking either to drop Statistics, and keep Physics, or drop Statistics and physics all together and be TA for another subject.

What's do you guys think? Improve my time management, or drop Stats, and/or Physics? /:

drop a class. improving time management wont help. youll get B's, no time for college app's and you can take it in college. in the end, gpa is def more important because you can always hide your true skill a bit more. high gpa with some hnrs classes = skilled person. low gpa w/ hnrs classes = person

I don't know about you, but if you don't drop a class within the first two weeks of enrolling, you get a WF, or withdraw-fail stamped on your transcript, which is worse than getting an F normally. It takes a big toll on your GPA, you get labelled some nasty things, and I think you even lose good standing for a while. A BIG no no at your school, but take it up with your counselor for sure, don't let it slip by!

I'm really stressed out right now that's why.,

If I drop out Physics and Statistics, I could focus on AP Biology way more!

yeah and its an AP, better to do well on ONE AP test then bomb Multiple AP tests..... better to master something than be mediocre at evrything.... just my 2 cents

I'm going to keep AP Lit and gov though.

PHYSICS is cray cray... >_>

And I get stats, but it takes so much of my time.

@Firelion I like you're quote... That's pretty wise. Thanks for the insight

no problem. thats how i look at life. i know plenty of people that took on way too many ap's their jr/sr yrs, got C's and b's and 3's and a 4 on all ap exams. ended up destroying their gpa's. didnt get into a top notch college. but then theyre ppl tht dont overweight themselves, 3 aps at most a yr, work on ec's, got into a top notch college and wrote excellent college essays.

so what class are you dropping? i dropped a class too this yr, it shows W-p on my transcript, no worries. ure not alone

I dropped Physics. Physics by far is the hardest in our school... o_o. I don't feel as stress anymore, ever since I dropped it.

Now I have higher grades on AP bio and stats. I'm satisfied ~
