It's kind of a funny story. When I was a younger, I used to spend precious nighttime hours blissfully playing an MMO called VMK. I was looking for a Username and "Awesomegirl" was for some reason one of the most coveted names on the site. I, of course, wanted the name too but apparently, there were too many "Awesomegirl"s on VMK. So I chose awesome_irl with the "_" denoting a g (yes, I was THAT clever as a kid). Underscores aren't allowed on college confidential, which is the reason why I don't have it.

My username is based off of my favorite foods: tacos and burritos. I love burritos.

I was really into Tolkien when I was about nine and that was also about the first time that I became a member on an internet site. Bad spelling got it to Lutien instead of Lúthien and the name has morphed over time.

S= Middle name
Haywood= My mother's maiden name
I also love the name Shay. The fact that S/Haywood can be said as Shaywood is just a happy coincidence.

I live in New Orleans. Honestly, it's from the Real World: New Orleans' theme, some girl goes "We in da NOLA, babyyy", and for some reason it was in my head when I signed up, so that's how it became my username.

the phrase "keep the wolves from the door" means to be at the minimal level above freezing/starving, so "a wolf at the door" would mean you are pretty much done for... cheerful, right?
But really I chose it because it's one of my favorite Radiohead songs |
