Lets see i know a guy who has a 2.3 GPA
He can play instruments, can fix almost any type of car. Computers programms/ builds apps, is well versed in Catholic Theology, volutneers for hours, and takes regular classes and has a 2.3 GPA.

Well, I mean, I guess I am, but I don`t mean it as rude as it comes across. I`m just trying to say how arrogant she sounds.

And yes, I do find it strange that you say all the top of the class people were nice. I guess it varies by school.

Lol, I guess my posts are a little harsh, so I'll try to be as objective as possible here.

GPA, SAT scores, ACT scores, whatever else are not indicators of intellect. They are indicators of how well you play the indoctrinating "game" of American education. Clearly we all play the game well, so we gain a false superiority complex, while others are less proficient. But GPA in no way shows intellect or passion: it's a number, nothing more.

Yes, it was shallow saying you wouldn't date someone with a lower GPA. Intellect, I can understand. But GPA, as I said before, is not intellect. I also found your post arrogant, when you criticized someone for wearing a Harvard hoodie, said you "hated the dumb kids, " (a HIGHLY subjective and flawed reasoning too), and generalized all intelligent people as "nice and humble." If that was not your desired tone, then you need to learn articulate writing.

I am all for strong opinions. But misguided strong opinions are a plague, and are truly something you have to fix.

kydurron, that kid does seem an intellectual to me. Except for the Christian Theology part.

Anecdotal evidence? Nice. Proceed.

And for the record, GPA is often used to determine intelligence. I didn't say it was proper, but it is done.

@logic
Did I say all intelligent people were this way? No, I said the ones at the top of my class at my school.
Also, for the last time, the chick wearing the H hoodie bragged about her ability to gain entry with mediocre credentials. Please re read before you critique my writing.
