- clothes (of all kinds, but mostly dresses and skirts)
- various posters (woodstock, starry night, galaxy, etc)
- various books (fiction YA novels, typography books, fact books, etc.)
- beauty related items (make-up, hair waver, brushes)
- voice recorder (to record interviews for journalism)

And I'd love a DSLR camera, but that I'll have to save up to buy myself.

To make it easier for people, I usually just ask for gift cards or cash: gift cards to control my spending at places I shop frequently at, and cash to put in my savings. But for specifics...
-A long list of books (from fiction, to comic books)
-Decor for my fish tank
-A kate spade new york dress I've been eyeing since forever
-Office supplies. Sounds boring, but office supplies just make me so happy
-More latch hook kits so I can get my knitting on
-Various DVDs

I've decided I want a guitar. Doesn't have to be a nice one. I always wanted to learn. I had one when I was 10 but broke all the strings and gave it away. I saw one of my friends playing a song yesterday and it looked so cool...and playing piano isn't working as well at picking up girls as it used to

Though I say it every year, I don't really want much for Christmas.

-Perhaps a few books that I feel like reading (I like to own rather than getting from the library), including Anna Karenina, The Great Gatsby, and a few others.
-Some kind of phone. I don't need an iPhone or really anything special - just for texting and calling. The keys on my junk one don't work that well anymore.
-Clothing. Funny how for everyone this used to be the worst present imaginable, but now it's like the best.

And for college, probably more of a graduation present, I'm thinking that I kind of want a Macbook Air. My Macbook (October 2008) is running out of memory (iTunes I hate you!), the battery basically can't hold a charge on its own anymore, and overall it is starting to feel age. I'd like to start fresh. If I get one (and hopefully a new one comes out by the summer) I'd sell this on Craigslist or something.

- UChicago acceptance letter :')
- Pandora charm bracelet
- J.Crew Saturday pants (the PERFECT pair of sweatpants...prepping for college, haha)
- calendar; I always have a wall calendar in my room, so it'll prepare me for the new year.

Otherwise, just money and I'll debate with myself about what to spend it on... I'm thinking movies, books, Bath & Body Works crap, NAKED palette (the best neutral eyeshadow palette ever), and probably clothes. Oh, consumerism
