So I just wanted to vent about how my math class is killing me and the freaking grading system is 70% on test so it's impossible to pass no matter how hard u try.

English: I hated Antigone sooo much, and it pretty much ruined my grade in that class...
History: Literally, all we do in that class is listen to our teacher talk in a monotone every day. We've never done anything different...
Chemistry: I love the subject, but my teacher is suuuuper disorganized and gets off topic way too much. Half our class periods are spent talking about water polo, half about other sports/activities, and the nonexistent half is spent actually learning chemistry.
Precalc: My teacher is crazy. He's turned what's supposed to be an easy class into a physics class, as in: "we're going to have a test tomorrow, but instead of spending the day reviewing, we're going to be talking about physics and standing waves, which won't be on your test" (and whaddya know, it actually ended up being on the test). There are probably 2 people in the class with As right now (one of them being me - yay!), but it's SO hard.

Apart from all of that, school's going pretty well.

I'm in a really bad place at the moment academically. Its junior year and I overloaded myself on APs and my grades last quarter are making me feel even more discouraged. I'm just going to have to have no life now and study over the weekends because my grades are crucial right now :l

Chem hon: the teacher is pretty cool but he can't teach and I'm not learning.
English hon: eh the the teacher is a little bipolar and eccentric, but its fine.
AP Euro: it gets boring but all is good
USB: love it
Precalc hon: we had a sub since school started since our teacher was on maternity leave. She's coming back tommorow, and based on her rep she's not gonna let us have fun in class anymore.
Spanish II: not learning anything, hate the people in the class.

Not pertaining to any class: I'm so stressed about basketball tryouts. Then tommorow morning I need to get a physical at 8:30 and race back for practice at 10 am. Then there's tryouts Tuesday, when I'm supposed to appear as the schools district rep, which I only do 3 times a year. So I have to miss that, and I'm worried the principal will be mad. And I'll be especially upset about it if I miss the district meeting and don't make the team. D:

Spanish Cinema; the kid I sit next to makes fun of the kid with autism every time he talks and I want to hurt him so badly (i'm amazed that I haven't slapped him yet). It's bad enough that this kid leans over my shoulder BEFORE he asks me a question ("What's the answer to numero dos?"), but ragging on a kid that can't control himself is beyond jerkwad territory. I almost feel bad for this kid (the one I sit next to) because he's a huge tryhard and nobody likes him, but I don't feel bad for people that don't help themselves.
