| What's your school's highest GPA?
Someone in my school has a 4.95 GPA.
My GPA is going to be around 4.3 by the end of this year.

Which is fine, because I'm sure your self-esteem is still higher than it should be.

the highest GPA possible at my school is a 6.059. But nobody has ever broken 6.0 I'm almost positive. I go to a highly competitive asian populated public school in NJ, but the valedictorian of the class of 2003 (ironically a white guy) had a 5.8 something not to mention perfect SAT score. Nobody else has gotten close.

My eyes beheld a sky one night,
It seems so long ago,
A perfectly painted portrait,
Be-speckled with blue and gold.
As I sit and ponder more,
It strikes me that you were there,
And it was truly your simple beauty,
That gave the stars their perfect glare.
-plagiarized by me.
-dedicated to my ego, which left me a suicidal note at 11:52 PM

Last year the top academic award (for my grade) went to a girl who's average was 96.7% (100 point scale... no weighted/unweighted).
I have heard rumors though, of some junior this year who has a 99 average...
Edit: One of my friends got the school board record for the most credits that any student has ever had in the city... he can technically graduate twice because of all the extracurricular music he's taken (choir, jazz choir, band, jazz band, jazz combo + full IB + french challenge). Oh, and the best part... he still managed to have a spare period this semester!
