I kill them too quickly to really gauge my reactions...
But anyway, I would tell people that I'm not scared of spiders.

The thing that I am most scared of in the world are those medium sized spiders. Mostly because I was downstairs you night watching TV at 1 am and a bug was walking across the tv. I was not at first sure if it was on the tv so because I was stupid went up to the television and poked it, thinking that it was on the tv. To my surprise the spider jumps into the air and lands on me. Because the room was totally dark except for the light of the tv I could not see where it was on me, and thus had a nervous breakdown, because this was no small spider. So to answer your original question, Yes.

Unless the population your specifically trying to study is people who post on CC, you are going to get a strongly biased inaccurate result that any competent teacher will rip apart.
That said, I am more horrified of spiders than I am of death, bears, George Bush, and the apocalypse(i.e. not getting into cornell)

Um it depends. Those big banana spiders and wolf spiders are what I'm scared of. Small ones like black widows don't really bother me....I kill them quickly.
But I've had lots of spiders crawl on me. Like sometimes when I walk in my backyard, I'll get caught up in a spiderweb and start flailing around to get it off haha.

In terms of animal fear, I am most afraid of:
1.)Giant Squid
2.)Centipedes
3.)Spiders
So yes afraid of them. Especially Daddy Long Legs. Something about skinny legs freaks me out.

Here's my reaction:
"AHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!! SPIDER!!!!!" *STOMPSTOMPSTOMP - but misses because I can't open my eyes*
Naw, not quite that bad. That'd be my cousin. Me, I'm more along the lines of, "I'm scared, but I don't want to kill them out of humanitarian interest..."

Haha. When I was younger, I used to play with spiders because the boy I liked next door used to.
Then, I was afraid of them.
Then, I just thought they were disgusting.
Then, I pitied them for their vulnerability.
Now, I just think they are cool.

I am most afraid of losing my life while still living it, though.
And not appreciating tautology. Like why is the sky blue? b/c it reflects the ocean. why is the ocean blue? because it reflects the sky etc etc
oh, and drowning while surfing. >_< that is, indeed, scary.
