Ok, so I just thought I'd let everyone know this info because I finally did go crazy today and I called scholastic and asked if they knew when results would be out.

The woman I spoke to said that they go through submissions alphabetically, and as of today, they are only on Ds. She said that all of the final decisions should be made no later than April 4 or 5.

She also said that they notify by email and by snail mail.

Hope this helps, even if it is just more waiting...

Well, much later than I thought. The website said sometime in march. It's gonna be hard to wait.

Ah! I don't think that I can wait that long. At least now I won't have to fight the urge to check my school inbox every day.... And only on D's?!?!? Double AH! I wonder if they've gotten to me by now.... I hope they don't think my writing is terrible. I don't want the judges to remember my work as the Worst Short Story EVER. ...Triple AHHH!

Yes. I am obsessive.

I would... but I'm far too self-conscious about my writing.
