i've been waiting in semi-agony for notification too...
i entered the non-fic writing port
my english teacher (i had her for first semester only) asks me all the time if i've heard anything
i've kinda accepted that i didn't win...
but finding this thread makes me want to know...
i sent my stuff to the region-at-large
...
hmm today my counselor told me something weird though
she said that there's surprise for me
but that she's been sworn to secrecy
so i was like, ookay? i came for a letter of recc but thanks?
i mean, unless someone contacted my school, which in turn went to my counselor
but why secrecy?
it probably isn't THIS???
i guess i'll be holding my breath...

| Same here, Jimbob. Actually, I mailed mine of the day of the 'second' deadline (it was extended) .... Whoops.
I also hope we get 'rejection' letters. But I don't think that any letters/emails have gone out... I mean out of all of us, at least one person must have won something, right? | |

| Yeah, that morning I was actually at school scrounging CD-ROMs from people, burning my files onto them, stuffing them into envelopes, typing up and signing forms...my best friend had to run to the post office for me during her free period
And as for "one of has to win it" haha...take one look at the Ivy League admissions results threads...there is no guarantee that people on CC will get nods | |

do you know if they send e-mails or letters? Will they even send out anything if you got nothing...
I'm guessing you're all talking about nationals? or are you still waiting to hear from regionals? I'm just confused because i heard from regionals months and months ago. | |
