| Do past campers get to go back to camp automatically? Or do they just go straight to national exam? If that's the case, there is one camper in my school who took the local exam, but since only 2 from each school can take national...I guess he will take one of the spots. However, if he's exempt from the local and goes straight to national exam, would he still take one of our school's spots? I ask only because there are probably 3 kids from our school, including him and myself, that are somewhat decent at chem...and it would suck if I was the third that couldn't take it. |

| yeah that would be a bit too cheap to let them come back to camp. Although I think bronze medalists might have some leeway, but even if they didnt, a medalist before senior year will have no problems making it back to camp (and the team) |

| past campers must take the national exam. even if they take locals, they dont take one of the "two" spots.
i dont recall anything about medalists being able to skip the national exam...basically if you're good enough to go to icho you better be good enough to pretty much ace the nationals. |

| wikipedia is a valid source...
artofproblemsolving.com is phun.
Doing practice tests may make you sad...
But studying Atkins is the best (if you havent before).
Peter Atkins's Chemical Principles book: if you can do everything there, you have a good footing in preparing for the nationals |
