| Marimare, it seems like most 13-14 year old winners are in 6-8th grade, so they're in Group 1... idk. I've seen a couple of 14 year olds from HS's win, too. |

| Does a collection count as an individual submission (meaning I only have to pay 5 dollars for two poems)? |

| It seems like almost everyone here is in Region-at-Large, which means that after today...we're done!!!! What's everybody entering?
I'm sending a short story, poetry, and a memoir (yay for picking all the most popular categories). |

| I sent two personal essays/ memoirs.. Though I think one of them will be disqualified because I had my name on it. I couldn't really take my name out as... it was about my name... |

| Mailed. Whew.
I sent a short short story, "Dust Poems," and a personal essay, "Words Like Music."
I'd be interested to hear the titles of everybody's, too. Also, for those of you who submitted either short stories or short short stories, what did you use to decide between the two categories? |

| NOOOOOO
I just realized I submitted the non-online submission form instead of the online submission form. Since I got my signatures and sent it in the mail BEFORE i fully registered my work (I did everything else first because the post office was closing), I thought there was only one submission form. Gaaaaaah. |

| Haven't sent it out yet (NYC's deadline is next week), but I'm submitting a short short story (titled "Kekoa") and a collection of poetry.
Isn't the only difference between short story and short short story the word count? |

| No, that's the wierd thing. While the minimum word count is different for short story and short short story, the max is the same (3000 words). It doesn't make much sense to me.
Teenage_Cliche, your title has piqued my interest. What's it about? |

| Oh, and PaperHat, aren't you not even allowed to do the non-online submission form unless you're under 13? |

| It's a creation myth (usually not my thing, but I went for it and liked the end result) set in Hawaii. |
