| RAL results for Regional come out pretty late. I've won national awards from SWA for the past four years in a row, (1 silver, 3 gold) and regional notification always came in late March for me. National award results came in late May. (I remember this because I got the mail during the second week of AP tests.)
Though I live in Norcal, so maybe it only pertains to my region. They sent emails too last year, but the email is never specific enough. |

| eeeeep I'm super excited for national results this year.
Last year I received [all on regional level] 2 silver keys, and 3 gold keys for photography.
I was preeeetty upset when I didn't get anything nationally, but looking back I can totally understand it.
I'm from the West Texas region, and our results are FAST.
We had our ceremony weekends ago.
This year I received- portfolio gold for photography, gold key for digital imagery, and the American Visions nominee!
March or April is faaaar too late to know about Nationals!
I feel for you guys who have to wait that long just to find out regional results :[[
Hang in there guys! :] |

| For those RAL-ers, you probably have muuuuch longer to wait (sorry!!!). Last year I found out about my RAL win on April 23 (yes, I did look it up... haha). So, relax for now, and start stressing out again April 1. Good luck! |

| I am from the NYC region, and I submitted my writing.
I got a packet from Scholastic the Thursday before last, informing me that I had won a gold key award in the short short story category. According to the FAQ paper they included, the national winners will receive packets in the 3rd week of March. That seems kind of soon to me, but then again, this was my first time entering the contest, so I'm still new at this. :] |

| Ravenink-- if I read your post correctly, NYC people might hear about nationals next week? Kind of nervous... |
