Stanford's EPGY Distance-learning

Has anyone taken any course from this program? It looks to me a pretty good distance learning program, but I needed some feedback/opinions regarding this program. Anyone?

WHen are you planning to take it if you're going to SSP? Just wondering if people take it in addition to their normal courseload in school, which I am considering doing.

I have been taking EPGY while I'm in school and it has not been too much work for me, but then again my school's classes are a breeze. If you have the money to do so it seems worth it to take courses during the school year, since even if you go slower than you would in summer you are still getting more done than you would not doing it.

Also - from what I've seen, there are no distance programs comparable to Stanford in the courses they offer. None have math beyond Calc BC other than EPGY.

Simfish - there are a number of distance learning programs that offer higher level math courses for credit. Try U. Texas, U. Colo-Boulder, U. Idaho.

If you don't need credit, there's always MITs Opencourseware.

U Colo. Boulder only offers math up to Analytic Geometry and Calculus 2. U. Idaho requires admission. However, at least U. Texas has linear algebra and multivariable calculus (but I am unsure about its quality - with EPGY, I can see all the topics covered and that still doesn't compare to EPGY. Well, apparently, it seems that EPGY is unparalleled in math.

But if you want something other than math, then these university programs do offer a variety.

And now I see why none have chemistry - because labs are important.

i first thought of taking a course or two over the summer, but i actually might continue epgy throughout the senior year, if i feel like it...;;

so it seems that epgy is very good in distance-learning "industry," but how does it compare to actually attending a residential summer program, such as harvard ssp, in terms of quality of education? how about the colleges? do colleges prefer residential program over distance-learning?
