| Hmm...good question.
Drinking-No, I don't, not unless they constantly talk about getting drunk or something like that.
Smoke-I don't know, because I don't know any people in my school who smoke (though there are probably people who smoke). I probably would judge them a little.
Drugs-Yes, I do judge them. |

| I don't judge them, in fact I generally don't judge people at all. I'm very open-minded and receptive to different ideas. Besides from substance, I do not judge people based on their nationality, religion, clothing, appearance, upbringing, etc. It is a matter of tolerance and kindness. |

| No. There are plenty of people that smoke a bit, drink a bit, do drugs a bit. That isn't necessarily indicative of their future. Take a look at Obama. He did cocaine, marijuana, etc but now he's a thriving politician. |

| To all of those who base judgment on whether or not the kids are smart about it or stupid and wasted all the time: thanks for your rationality.
To all those who judge drinkers regardless (especially those who call it throwing your future away??): i honestly dont see why you judge. sure, the kids who drink/smoke every night and skip class because of it, we all judge them to an extent, whether we choose to or not. it's our subconscious. but for those of you who think all drinkers are irresponsible or wasting their future, how can you openly admit to judging them? do you honestly believe they are less of a person than you? as far as the future is concerned, i drink a couple times a month, and i have good grades, a 35 act, and im a national merit finalist. i only say to this to prove a point, not to brag about anything, but am i wasting my future because i drink and i'm responsible about it? because i think i'll be a fairly successful individual. |

| I drink and smoke pot maybe once or twice a month, and clearly I don't judge myself. As for harder drugs, I don't know many people who do them frequently; I guess a little experimentation I don't mind but I generally assume that those few who get into it further are kind of dumbasses.
Cigarettes are a different story. I think they're disgusting. |

| It's none of my business.
And besides, I do enjoy the occasional toke or drink once in a while...
My parents just caught me though, and they are sending me to a psychologist for 'drug addiction' and other, more irrational reasons. Parents are the most irrational beings on the planet, it seems...

| hahaha
my dad took me to summer haze last year. my parents are cool with me drinking (very little) under their supervision because they say that when I'm older if I don't know how to drink I'll end up being one of those people who gets trashed because they don't know their limit.
as for those who think that people who drink are doomed to be failures, I have one thing to say "the 70s" |

| No; I don't feel it is my place to judge other people for their choice of recreational chemicals. High school--never mind that, life--can be a very stressful experience, and most everyone has to deal with the pressure one way or another. Live and let live. |

| luminaire, honestly your post made me laugh. haha i dont drink (not until college, that is ).
i dont judge drinkers, honestly i want a companion/friend who can go out and have some fun (no, i'm NOT saying that non drinkers have fun, please dont jump all over me). but hey i respect ppl who dont drink either. props to ya.
smoking, i judge. not gonna lie. i see smokers as somewhat weak, as if they cannot overcome their problems and must turn to things that harm themselves tremendously as well as other people. i don't really judge "social" smokers, though. hey, you gotta try everything at least once....well maybe not meth or X but you get the idea.
drugs, i dont really care. just get some help. |

| yea, this sounds really weird, but o well: i am an extrovert--its what "stimulates" you, external or internal forces. not necessarily outgoing or not, thats just a symptom. but i am really shy when meeting ppl, so i have a hard time starting friendships/relationships. like, i have a lot to say and a lot i want to talk about, i just can't force it out of me. it feels really weird. things like not taking my ADD medicine haha and potentially alcohol will make me open up more. i think some ppl kinda have similar reasons to this. |

| I have to honestly say that I do judge them to an extent. I just think that they shouldn't be spending their time getting high when there are many other ways to get that rush. People who drink I think aren't so bad-I've been to tons of parties, and they're actually pretty funny. But smokers/druggies are repulsive. |

| I probably do. Not badly, but I still think a little different about them. Which is sort of ironic due to my user name.
I don't think people that drink or smoke are scum, but it helps me get a better idea of part of their life.
That said, most if not all my friends do some sort drug/drink/smoke whatever. |

| Certainly it is not good to do those things; however many people who do these things have often been in the wrong influence. Maybe they were influenced at a very young age and now are addicted. That is not exactly their fault. Then there are people who start the stuff because they want to be cool. The secret lies in the person's ability to overcome and correct his or her mistakes. If they refuse to give up thinking it is cool, my judgement of them is not very good. |
