Lots of kids in my school do marijuana, they smoke, and they drink.
And this is Brearley, the Nation's #1 All-Girls school, and Nations #2 ~ #3 in all private schools.

Honestly, those who say that students who drink, smoke, and do drugs are all dropping out of highschool are wrong. None are dropping out and dids in my school are getting in to Ivies just fine.

jesus people i was joking. i know everyone drinks. **** some of my best times came under the influence

drinking/smoking should never consume your life...but done in moderation, i see no issue with it. (and by smoking i mean weed....cigarettes are absolutely disgusting)

I don't care. I'd probably do it now and then myself if I wasn't worried about getting addicted (stupid family history, seriously). If someone else I know wants to drink or smoke pot, and they're not getting behind the wheel under the influence, fine by me.

What does bug me, though, is kids who think they're super cool for drinking, or better than everyone else because they're straight-edge. Grow up. Not everyone has to live the way you do.

By judging them, it doesn't mean I am necessarily condoning them to their face, but just noting in my mind that they are acting dumb.
fa-la-la-lena, I think you have the wrong definition for "condoning."

I don't judge any substance users as long as they don't harm anyone in the proccess. Drinking at a party is cool with me. Drinking and then driving is a d*** move and should land you in jail. Doing weed with friends is fine; have a good afternoon dude. Mixing a bunch of drugs and going crazy on someone is stupid. Smoking at home alone or with other smokers? I don't see why you'd risk your health like that but if it's worth it to you, go for it. Smoking around kids or in public? We don't want your second-hand carcinogens, thankyouverymuch.

Just my take on it.

that's a good question.

I have friends who do drugs, smoke, AND drink. We have enough respect for each other to not really discuss those situations much at all since they know I'm not into that. I like who they are and the mess they do is usually never a matter of discussion (unless im concered about them, then i'll tell them whats up)

But i find that I do judge those who do drugs, smoke, and drink AND are just individuals I do not like as people. If that makes any sense at all lol

I think that if someone didn't know their friend did drugs and they found out about it there would definitely be some judging going on. Or more so they would look at that friend differently in the future.
So I think it is more of looking at people in a different way than actually judging them

I try not to judge them. But, I really hate when the smell seeps through my locker at school and when I get smoke blown in my face. As long as it doesn't affect me, do as you do.

I really do judge these kids, and although I don't know a lot of them personally, I just get angry looking at someone when I know that they drink/smoke/do other drugs. Even if I feel fine about someone, and they seem pretty nice, if I find out that they drink/smoke/do drugs, I immediately feel like I hate them. For some reason, knowing that someone takes drugs blocks my ability to see them as anything other than trash.

I'm sure I judge them unconsciously. I can't control it really. After all the assemblies and videos that have been shoved down our throats since elementary school, I'm really curious how they can still so willingly destroy their bodies and brains in such a way.

I don't look down on them, just the choices they make.

I judge these people because I don't believe in putting trash into your body, but if they want to do that with their lives, they can go ahead and do it. No one on the outside is going to change their minds.

(I just wish some smokers would be more considerate with where they choose to smoke. The smell of it makes me sick.)
