I used to drive my mom's 2006 Prius...

...but then my parents got me a very, very, very nice (early) graduation present because I made it into the program I really wanted to get into. In the form of a 2008 BMW 328i convertible O_O. They gave me an envelope this weekend and it had the deed in it; I almost shat my pants.

What's wrong with a stick shift? It keeps me busy while driving so I don't fall asleep XD

I use my thumb to hitch a ride from place to place, because I live in New Jersey one of the few states that requires you to be 17 to get a provisional license...

Manual transmission is the bomb as long as you're not driving through the city. Then it's a real pain.

Manual transmission is awesome; you actually have complete control of your car, unlike automatic transmission. I only prefer automatic in traffic, otherwise stickshift is the best.

I'm driving a 1990 Lexus ES250 currently. Later on I'll be getting my brother's 1995 240SX.

Even though the cars I drive are cheap, they have style--unlike those generic rich kids with their generic 2008 bimmers

Sticks are good if you want to race...but otherwise it's not that practical. It means you have to use both hands to drive. I prefer automatics so I can eat or call people on my cell phone while driving. =]

If you want control of your car you could always get tiptronics

Sticks are sexy.
