How to manage time well and not procrasinate.

I want to go to MIT. I know I need to do lot of stuff. I know im not spending as much time on studying AP as I should. But what can I do? What are your tips? How can I stop procrastinating and manage time well?

Get off of CC. Seriously, it's the biggest source of procrastination EVER!

set up a Physical List...literally, I did that for a while and felt STUPID. when you're done with the task check it off.

Above all though ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
the above post says it all, not just for CC but from forums and Computer in general.

I so suffer from the same problem, Amandeep. It'd be better so much of my homework didn't require internet access. Then I could just shut off the computer and work in peace.

Yeah i should really get off CC. LOL

but i guess it has taught my lot about college admission competition and kind of gave me motivation.

Make a list of what you should do each day. If you don't want to do one of them all of a sudden, then imagine youself being in MIT after doing the work, that motivates you.

yeah for me it's more facebook, used to be aim, not so much CC .. i only come here when i post threads or when im really really bored and no one's online/no facebook comments/etc, oh and GMAIL. here try this. lock yourself in your room and give all forms of distraction to a parent to like "hide" -- until youre done.

i did that. my grades were mucho higher.

hmm... just ask yourself what you should be doing. you know what you should be doing. When you feel like sleeping or quitting or not doing it. Ask yourself why you're studying. Confirm your priorities start again with new motivation. This is what i've been doing after college tours.
