Spanish. It's going to end up being prevalent in the U.S. It will come into play far more than French ever will.

I'm in French II and Spanish I right now as a freshman, and learning the basics of Spanish was really easy after knowing a little French. I plan on adding Chinese by junior year.

Ow. I took Chinese before. I liked it but did not have enough time to study.

So should I start with Latin and French then start Spanish later ?

Why do you want to do Latin?

I agree with the posters who think taking both (Latin and French/Spanish) is a good idea. It really does help learning the other language, and it's worth it. I think Latin is good if you like languages, and it does help with roots, although one could pick that up without Latin. I took Latin and Spanish at the same time, but I started Latin after several years of Spanish. I personally think Spanish is easier to learn than French.

Thanks for your suggestion.

Any more suggestion for me ?

@Jonathan: I want to use Latin to help me with my English. Is it a wise thinking ?

If you want to improve in English, study English.

If it does not have Greek, go for Latin. If you can take Spanish , French and Latin at the same time, take all of them

I agree with the other posters, I think taking French and Latin should definitely benefit you. Latin should be able to help you with your French.
